Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Sirius Majikthise (“the site”) collects from visitors and account holders, how that information is used, and the choices available to you. It applies to this website only, not to the third-party platforms linked from it.

This site hosts adult comics and is restricted to visitors 18 or older. Age confirmation is stored only in your browser (via local storage), not on our servers, so you will be asked to confirm again on a new device or browser.

Account information. If you register an account, we collect the name and email address you provide and store your password as a one-way hash — we never store or have access to your plaintext password. Your account also records a membership tier (free, silver, or gold) that determines which comics and downloads you can access.

Download activity. When a signed-in account downloads a file that requires a paid tier, we log the file, its title, the tier it required, the tier your account held at the time, and the date. Free-tier downloads are not logged. This log is used to enforce access rules and investigate abuse.

Location-based access control. Some countries have age-verification laws we cannot yet meet, or prohibit this kind of content outright. To comply, the site checks the country associated with your IP address, from headers supplied by our hosting and network providers, on each request. This check happens in real time and is not stored, except for a single cookie used to remember an explicit access exemption if one has been granted to your IP address.

Cookies. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and, where applicable, a region-access cookie (sm_region_bypass) that lasts up to a year. Both are essential to the features they support and are not used for advertising.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and collects data such as pages viewed, approximate location, and device type. Google acts as an independent data processor for this data under its own privacy policy.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers that operate the site — our hosting provider and Google Analytics — to the extent needed to run the site, and where required by law.

This site does not process payments or store payment card details directly. Where paid membership is associated with an external platform such as Patreon, DeviantArt, or Nyx, any payment information is handled entirely by that platform under its own privacy policy — we never see or store it.

We keep account information for as long as your account exists, and download logs for as long as needed to enforce access rules and investigate disputes. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time; see “Your rights” below.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. This site does not currently list a dedicated privacy email address. To make a request, message us through Instagram or X, both linked in the site footer.

This site is intended for adults 18 and older and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
